Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; Master's preferred
- 7+ years of enterprise sales experience with government and large organizations
- Proven track record of managing complex, long-cycle sales processes
- Experience with smart city technologies, public safety, or government solutions
- Strong network within East Coast government and institutional markets
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Territory includes: NY, NJ, PA, CT, MA, ME, VT, NH, RI, MD, DE, DC, VA, WV
Job Description
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategy for East Coast territory
- Build relationships with state and local government officials, police departments, and municipal leaders
- Manage complex procurement processes and government contract negotiations
- Coordinate with federal partners and national account teams
- Lead regional trade show participation and industry event representation
- Manage and mentor junior sales staff within region
